Rethinking My Website for 2010 (Part 1: Web Tech)

Looking back however, whilst it was perfectly functional, it lacked real 'clean' XML-style coding; and apart from a semblance of validity (in W3C certified XHTML 1.0 Transitional) the way the HTML code and CSS was implemented would eventually make me cringe upon inspection.
